Does your child have an iPad? An iPod? A cell phone? A Wii? If so, you don't want to miss this meeting! Parents and community members are invited to an Internet safety program on Thursday, April 25, at 6:00 P.M. in the Paine Intermediate amphitheatre.
Sergeant Carl Carpenter of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, in conjunction with our school Internet Safety Committee, will address parents about measures they can take to protect their children online. Information will be shared about apps like Instagram, and how to monitor a child’s electronic devices. We will share filters and restrictions that can be placed on these devices.
