We are in the process of
creating Google Apps accounts for all fifth grade students. A letter
will be sent home to each parent about Google Apps. Parents should sign and return the form if they choose to have an account created for their child. We will begin using these accounts in the computer lab so that fifth grade students will be knowledgeable about this new tool and prepared to use it at HTMS. A great feature of the Google Apps
account is that students will receive an email account, as well as a Google
drive account. This will allow students to work on a paper or presentation in
Google drive, and the file can go from school to home and back. Please return the form by Wednesday, December 19. While this is short notice, it will take time to create
the accounts, and winter break is the perfect time to create them. The accounts will be created only for
those students who return this form.
