Made Me Smile Jan 10

Today am observing 4th graders tackling a most rigorous math assessment about capacity, arrays, the distributive and commutative properties, and a ratio table.  The students have developed the habits and strategies of persisting and thinking.  They are very carefully reading and rereading (close reading) the problems, making notes, thinking about the solutions, and finally solving those rigorous problems.  Amazing!
