Temperatures in our area are expected to drop
into the teens and possibly even single digits next week. We want to make
sure our safety patrollers are prepared for the extremely cold weather.
Please make sure your child wears warm clothing to serve on safety patrol if he
or she is stationed at an outside post. This includes a heavy coat,
gloves, and hat, toboggan, or hood. Students may also wish to wear a
scarf and possibly even thermals underneath their clothing. If you prefer
that your child not serve on safety patrol next week, we certainly
understand. Please call or e-mail Mrs. Blake and let her know so she can
make the necessary adjustments to our outside posts.
